NOTICE OF ZONING HEARING
The Zoning Hearing Board of Liberty Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania will hold a public meeting on Thursday, October 5, 2023, commencing at 6:00 P.M., for the purpose of conducting a zoning hearing at the Liberty Township Municipal Building, 39 Topper Road, Fairfield, Pennsylvania 17320.
The purpose of zoning hearing is to consider an Application for a Special Exception to the Zoning Hearing Board, filed by Austin Bard, relative to certain real property located in Liberty Township at 2575 Tract Road, Fairfield, PA 17320 and identified as Adams County Tax Parcel ID. No.: 25D18-0004---000. The real property, which is the subject of the zoning hearing, is zoned and located in an Agricultural Rural (AR) District, as established and designated pursuant to section 350-108 of the Liberty Township Zoning Ordinance. The Applicant is requesting the grant of a special exception in order to receive authorization and approval by the Zoning Hearing Board for the location, construction and use of a proposed new and larger dog kennel facility and the related expansion of an existing use permitted by special exception, pursuant to subsection 350-202.C.(1) (Use No. 22) and the specific use criteria, requirements and regulations for kennels as set forth in section 350-405 and section 350-432 of the Zoning Ordinance.
